If the Open in OneNote or Edit in OneNote command in OneNote for the web doesn’t work, it means there’s something wrong with the add-on that this command uses. There are several things you can do to get the add-on working.
Aug 27, 2015 This is unfortunately not possible. Mac OneNote doesn't understand how to open onepkg files. It only knows about how to talk to the cloud via OneDrive. Sadly, you'll need access to a PC with OneNote 2010, 2013, or 2016. From there, you'll be able to open. OneNote for Windows 10. To follow this procedure, make sure that you have installed the most recent version of OneNote. Go to the Microsoft Store, search for the OneNote app, and then select Update. Open OneNote. Press the Windows key to open the Start menu and then type OneNote. Press the Down Arrow until you hear 'OneNote: Windows app', not. To follow this procedure, make sure that you have installed the most recent version of OneNote. Go to the Microsoft Store, search for the OneNote app, and then select Update. Open OneNote. Press the Windows key to open the Start menu and then type OneNote. Press the Down Arrow until you hear 'OneNote: Windows app', not 'OneNote 2016'.
First of all, make sure you have Microsoft OneNote 2010 or later installed on your computer because earlier versions of OneNote won't work with this command. Then check the settings for your browser in the following table.
